The SuiteASSURED roadmap is planned through to 2024. Long Term Support (LTS) releases are defined. SuiteASSURED always contains mature, extensively tested, SuiteCRM code.

Who is responsible for SuiteASSURED?

SuiteASSURED is a downstream fork of SuiteCRM. SuiteASSURED is produced by SalesAgility, the authors and maintainers of SuiteCRM.

What warranties does SuiteASSURED provide?

SuiteASSURED warrants that the copyrights in the software are owned by or have been licensed to SalesAgility and we have the right to distribute the Software (copyright warranty). Further warranties state that the software is free from significant programming errors and defects in workmanship (quality warranty).

What indemnifications does SuiteASSURED provide?

SuiteAssured indemnifications include (i) replacing any infringing portion of the software, (ii) modifying the software so that its use becomes non-infringing, or (iii) obtaining the rights necessary for a customer to continue use of the software without interruption.

What standard patent protections are available to SuiteASSURED customers

SalesAgility are members of Open Invention Network (OIN). OIN is the largest patent non-aggression community in history and supports freedom of action in Linux and Linux-related systems and applications as a key element of open source software. OIN acquires patents and licenses them royalty free to its community members.

What is included with maintenance?

SuiteASSURED comes with built-in maintenance. This includes the provision of bug fixes, maintenance packs, and upgrades. A dedicated portal is available exclusively for SuiteASSURED clients.

How secure is SuiteASSURED?

SuiteASSURED is subject to regular vulnerability scanning and penetration testing by the internal product development team and by independent, accredited third party code security partners. Vulnerability and penetration testing occurs throughout the development lifecycle for all releases.

What are the costs?

Costs are dependent on the number of users per SuiteASSURED instance. Multi-instance, multi-site agreements are available. See here for more information.

How will this affect SuiteCRM?

It is all positive for SuiteCRM. SuiteCRM will remain the innovation and development hub of the CRM application. Both applications will continue to share a common code base. Any features which have undergone and passed detailed scrutiny and quality assurance for SuiteASSURED will be up-streamed to SuiteCRM. Any major fixes or security patches implemented within SuiteASSURED will also be up-streamed into SuiteCRM.
